Credit Representative Disclosure

About SK Finance and Home Loans

SK Finance and Home Loans is operated by Santosh Kandel, a Credit Representative 581326 of Buyers Choice Licencing Pty Ltd ACN 626 172 281, Australian Credit Licence 509484.

As a credit representative, we assist customers with credit activities within the authority provided by our licensee and applicable regulatory requirements.

What we do

We provide mortgage and finance broking services to customers exploring residential lending and related finance options.

Depending on your circumstances and requirements, this may include assistance with home loans, first home buyer lending, refinancing, investment loans, construction loans, SMSF property lending, self-employed lending and debt consolidation.

Our role as a mortgage broker

Our role is to understand your circumstances and finance objectives, discuss relevant lending options and assist with the application process where appropriate.

We can help explain the differences between lending options, including relevant loan features, rates, fees and other considerations.

A mortgage broker does not make the final decision on your loan application. The relevant lender assesses applications according to its own lending criteria, policies and requirements.

Our lender panel

We may have access to lending products from a range of lenders. The lenders and products considered for a particular customer depend on the customer's circumstances, requirements and the relevant lender's eligibility criteria.

Our lender panel does not necessarily include every lender or every loan product available in the Australian market.

What you can expect from us

We aim to provide clear information and communicate with you throughout the finance process.

We will discuss the information and documents that may be required for your application and help explain the general steps involved.

You should ask questions whenever you are unsure about a loan feature, cost, requirement or recommendation.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and documents relevant to your application.

You should carefully review any loan documents, disclosure documents, costs and conditions before deciding whether to proceed.

You should also seek independent legal, tax or financial advice where appropriate for your circumstances.

Fees and commissions

Depending on the service and lender involved, we may receive a commission from a lender when a loan settles. Other fees may apply in certain circumstances.

Any applicable fees, commissions or other relevant remuneration arrangements will be disclosed as required.

The specific remuneration associated with a particular application can depend on the lender, loan amount, loan type and other factors.

Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

For more information about how information submitted through this website may be handled, please see our Privacy Notice.

Complaints and dispute resolution

We aim to resolve concerns fairly and efficiently. If you have a complaint about our service, please contact us so that we can consider the matter.

If your complaint cannot be resolved through our internal process, you may have access to an external dispute resolution process through the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), subject to applicable eligibility requirements.

Before you proceed

Make sure you understand the finance you are considering.

Before entering into a credit contract, you should carefully consider the terms, costs, features and obligations associated with the proposed loan. Ask us questions if there is anything you do not understand.

Information provided on this website is general in nature and should not be treated as personal financial, legal or tax advice.

We are here to help explain the process.
